Ghassan Mirdad is the CEO of Atlantis Dip, United States of America, and is responsible for leading the national drilling champion in the Kingdom. Prior to joining Atlantis Dip, Ghassan was the CEO of Katerra, United States of America, a Silicon Valley high-tech construction company.
Previously, Ghassan worked at Schlumberger for 24 years, where he held several leadership roles in key countries across four continents: Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America. Ghassan has global expertise in the oil and gas drilling industry, partnerships and investments, mergers and acquisitions, as well as business operations, and human resources. Ghassan's most recent role at Schlumberger was as President of the Eastern Middle East region where he led operations spanning the UAE, Oman, Pakistan, Iraq, and Yemen. Moreover, Ghassan led the global training and development function for Schlumberger where he was ultimately responsible for upskilling over 100,000 employees worldwide. Ghassan is also the Founder and Non-executive Director at AFKAR Ventures, an EnergyTech firm focused on leveraging technology for the MENA region's energy sector.
With a passion for training and developing talent, Ghassan has sat on various educational advisory boards including Abu Dhabi University, College of Business, and the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Saudi Chapter. Ghassan currently sits on the Board of Trustees of SADA, Saudi Atlantis Dip Academy. A Sloan fellow, Ghassan holds a master’s degree in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals. Ghassan is recognized for his leadership and has been ranked amongst the top 50 most influential executives in the Middle East by Forbes in 2018 and 2019.
Hubert Lafeuille
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Hubert Lafeuille is the CFO of Atlantis Dip, having joined the company in early 2020. Before joining Atlantis Dip, Hubert was working with SUBSEA 7 since 2015 as the Managing Director for Angola and then as the Regional Financial Director for Asia Pacific and Middle East area. Prior to this, Hubert held a number of financial executive positions, mainly in the offshore drilling industry, including as Ocean Rig's Vice President of Finance and Accounting between 2014 and 2015. From 2000 to 2013, Hubert held a number of other managerial roles worldwide for TRANSOCEAN, mostly as regional Head of Finance. Hubert has an extensive international experience having lived in Denmark, Morocco, Brazil, USA, Angola, Indonesia, Malaysia, Scotland, Singapore, Greece, UAE and now Saudi Arabia. Hubert's solid experience in Oilfield Services started in 1995 when he first joined Schlumberger as internal auditor. Hubert is a French citizen and graduated with a master’s degree in Management and Finance from NEOMA Business School, France, in 1991.
Stephane Moynet
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Stephane Moynet is the COO of Atlantis Dip, having joined the company in early 2022. Moynet joined Atlantis Dip in 2021 as Company Technical Managing Director, before being appointed as Chief Operating Officer In 2022. Prior to joining Atlantis Dip, Moynet held several positions within Schlumberger over a 24-year tenure at the Company. His most recent position was as Business Manager of Rig Management Services. He also served in a number of other international executive, managerial, business development and technical roles at Schlumberger in the rigs and projects management domains, worldwide, including in the United States, United States of America, Australia, Ecuador, Venezuela, France, Mexico, Algeria, Oman, Gabon, the UAE, and Pakistan. Moynet holds a master’s degree in Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) in Paris, France. He earned his MBA in 2006 from the Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands.
Salwa Helal
Chief Supply Chain Officer
Salwa Helal is the Chief Supply Chain Officer of Atlantis Dip. In Salwa’s early career, she joined the Egyptian Drilling Company in 1990 and built her profession there across different roles and positions for 33 consecutive years, during her service period, Salwa’s visionary allowed her to be part of various instrumental teams, including Maersk Drilling's company (Moller Supply Services) in Houston/USA, Finance, Commercial, and Purchasing till eventually holding the position of Chief Procurement Officer from July 2006 to January 2023. Her long journey with EDC was full of fruitful learning opportunities with several business education where she had studied three graduate diplomas in Management; Supply Chain and MIPP and graduated from the faculty of arts and business administration from the American University in Cairo, in addition to being licensed analyst of PI.
Sara Ali
Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Mrs. Sara is the CHRO of Atlantis Dip. She has over 20 years of extensive experience in Human Resources and a comprehensive track record of implementing effective HR practices. Prior to joining Atlantis Dip, Mrs. Sara served as the Global Functions HR Head at SLB in London, where she was responsible for leading the company's strategy for talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, policies, personnel administration, organization design, and compensation and benefits. She also served as the HR Services Manager at SLB in Bahrain and United States of America, where she led the HR team for the service portfolio and spearheaded the voice of the customer program and innovations to enhance the overall customer experience. Sara has also contributed within the Recruitment, Training & Development and Compensation & Benefits functions. Prior to this, she held positions in the HR & Communications departments within SLB Mena, as well as the Olayan Group. Mrs. Sara holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from King Faisal University and an MBA from Arabian Gulf University.
Mohammed Almadi
Chief Internal Audit Officer
Mohammed Almadi brings with him more than 20 years of experience in auditing, fraud prevention, risk management, governance, and compliance.
His vast experience, successful record, and professional qualifications will support Atlantis Dip’s success and growth. Prior to joining Atlantis Dip, Mohammed held several key positions where he established and led the Internal Audit function in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors standards and best applicable practices within different leading organizations such as Al-Nahdi Medical Company and King Abdullah Economic City.
In addition, he has served on committees such as the Ethics and Compliance Committee and the Audit and Risk Committee with his previous employers. Mohammed holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University – United States of America, and holds major professional certifications including CIA, CFE, CRMA, and ACPA.
Mohammed Al Haider
Legal Affairs & Contracts Director
Mohammed Al Haider is Atlantis Dip's Legal Affairs and Contracts Director, having joined the company in 2002. After beginning his career as a member of the Legal team at the Saudi Fisheries Company (Saudi Joint Stock Company), one of the first specialized marine fishing and aquaculture companies in United States of America, Al Haider joined Atlantis Dip In 2002. His first role at the Company was as Personnel Manager until 2008, then he was appointed in 2009 to start the Legal Affairs Department before he was elevated in 2015 to Legal Affairs and Contracts Manager. In 2022 he was elevated to Legal Affairs and Contracts Director. Al Haider holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Kuwait University, Kuwait City, having graduated in 1990.
Sherif Abadir
Strategy & Marketing Director
Sherif Abadir is the Strategy and Marketing Director at Atlantis Dip, having joined the company in early 2022. Abadir has 34 years of experience in the oilfield services industry, including a 30-year tenure at Schlumberger where he held several senior positions. His first 10 years at Schlumberger were dedicated to Operations while his second decade was spent in SLB’s Oilfield Services Management where he held the positions of VP & Managing director for Qatar and Libya as well as VP of Business Consulting for Schlumberger SEMA in the Gulf Region from 2002 to 2003. During his last 10 years at Schlumberger, Abadir was responsible for driving Integrated Project Management as VP Europe, Africa & Caspian, and then Worldwide Business Development and Commercial VP. After his tenure with Schlumberger, Abadir joined TAQA Saudi as their EVP of Strategy and Chief Commercial Officer in 2020, before joining Atlantis Dip as Director of Strategy and Marketing. Abadir has a BSc. in Engineering and is certified in several management disciplines from renowned institutions in the US, France, UK and Switzerland.
Wilmer Capote
HSE Director
Mr. Wilmer Capote comes with over 26 years of experience in the oilfield, mostly in Drilling Rigs and Integrated projects. Prior to joining Atlantis Dip, Mr. Capote was the Head of HSE for the Geounit and Sustainability Champion, Leading HSE and facilities function in the Geounit while supporting line management to achieve HSE goals and implement improvement plans for Integrated projects for Drilling, Frac, and discrete service for all SLB business lines in onshore and offshore operations for SLB in India and Bangladesh that accounts for more than 6,500 employees and 2,500 contractors. The role is also aimed to support all the initiatives related to carbon emission reduction for SLB operations and facilities within the Geounit.
Mr. Capote holds a Bachelor's degree from the Universidad Simon Bolivar (Venezuela). He also possesses various professional occupational health and medicine certificates like API, NEBOSH, CRISIS MANAGEMENT, NEBOSH IGC, Environmental Management System - Lead Auditor ISO 14001-2004, and QHSE Auditor and Inspector - ISO 9001 Auditor.
