On November 29, 2022, the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) hosted Atlantis Dip CEO, Eng. Ghassan Mirdad as a keynote speaker on “The Impact of Digitalization on Drilling Operations Workshop” at the Kempinski Al Othman Hotel, Al Khobar. The workshop also hosted representatives from Saudi Aramco and other prominent national and international service and product providers in relation to the drilling industry.
It is with pleasure that SPE has invited me as a keynote speaker at “The Impact of Digitalization on Drilling Operations Workshop”. Without a doubt, the adoption of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics in drilling operations will highly improve drilling efficiency and performance, streamline operations, and reduce expenditures. These technologies are well-suited to transform the oil and gas industry into a new era.
